While filming I automatically changed my kick into a knee due to limited space. They said freestyle step was ok but it used to be a bodystep class. Wonder how far I'll get. Luckily the teacher teaches both styles of step so I hope she mixed her moves with the bodystep moves. Somehow that worked better for me, it kind of felt more natural to go from corner to corner. Both ways are evenly balanced she does it R,L and restarting the whole block on the L lead L,R and I R,R and L,L.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JJ's are easy to perform but tricky because there is no indication on what foot you should start next on. So it's up to us to give clear cue instructions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Naturally I needed, because of this change, another breakdown as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you're only interested in the 6 2009 :</title><content type='html'>&lt;p&gt;Hi all,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've been working very hard these last months and didn't find much time to post. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anyway here are some new combos :&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Stepcombo 5 2009 :&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is actually one of my older combos that I altered slightly to give it a new look. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Breakdown goes as follow:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Starting with the last 16 cts of the combo&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Travel Leglift + March + single Knee &amp;amp; repeat L&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Travel Leglift + March around the corner + Reverse Knee over back &amp;amp; repeat L&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Travel Leglift + Chacha's around the corner+ Reverse Knee over back &amp;amp; repeat L&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;start with 4x Basic + Travel Leglift + Chacha's around the corner+ Reverse Knee over back &amp;amp; repeat L&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;change in 4 Mambo's + Travel Leglift + Chacha's around the corner+ Reverse Knee over back &amp;amp; repeat L&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;change in 2 Mambo's R lead and 2 mambo's L lead (second one starting on ct 10) + Travel Leglift + Chacha's around the corner+ Reverse Knee over back &amp;amp; repeat L&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;first 2 Mambo's are taken to the side (stomp-tango floor-stomp + March)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;that March becomes calypso spin&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Second 2 Mambo's are brought to the side (the other one ofcourse : stomp-tango floor + March)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;Spin on the last March&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Stepcombo 6 :&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This one looks rather easy but I did struggle a bit with the breakdown because I wanted to do it completily in stepstyle and not with flooraerobicmoves.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;So starting with 12 cts March and a knee altering in March 2 + Elvis + March out till ct 6 and same on the left foot + single knee was not an option.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Although it would have followed the foot pattern exactly it wouldn't have raised the heartbeat. If this is an advanced move for your participants it might help to cue the 2x basics before you show the change as follow : up,up,down,down,up,up,down,down so they know the footpattern will not actually change.
